If your seals are deemed irreparable, our team can manufacture a new, custom seal at a lower cost, providing an economical alternative to full replacement. We provide full reconditioning services that restore seals to ‘As New’ condition for approximately 40% of the price of a new unit. For added durability, reconditioned seals can also be upgraded with advanced materials, such as Silicon Carbide or Tungsten Carbide, in place of standard Carbon faces.

Comprehensive Reconditioning Process

Our reconditioning process includes: Thorough Cleaning: All reusable metal parts are meticulously cleaned and inspected to meet factory tolerance standards. Seal Face Re-Lapping: Seal faces are re-lapped or replaced, depending on their condition. Replacement Parts: New springs, elastomers (rubber boots or O-rings), and set screws or setting clips (for cartridge seals) are installed. Surface Polishing: Sealing surfaces for secondary seals are polished to ensure a precise fit and function. Lapping to Industry Standards: Seal surfaces are lapped to industry standards, maintaining tolerances within 2 helium light bands for optimal sealing performance. Detailed Seal Condition Report: Available upon request, our report provides insights into the current state and lifespan of your seals.
